BEACHES OF POBRA DO CARAMIÑAL – 2

Once past the town center, heading northwest, a series of small beaches begin, which we list in the following 10 points. They are cove-style beaches, with vegetation, calm waters and white sand. Many of them are hidden in the middle of nature, and many of them have very little space for sand when we are at high tide. There are 1,900 meters of natural coves, difficult to access by narrow paths, with calm waters and great beauty.

We follow their order numbering them always following the coast towards the limit of Pobra with Boiro.

RINCÓN
Corner of the commercial pier. It is 53 meters of beach, a part of a larger beach that was mutilated with the construction of the commercial pier is a small corner of white sand with crystal clear waters and some rocky terrain.

PUNTA SALERA
Following the AC-305 towards Boiro after passing the neighborhood of the Covecha, before reaching the course, on the right hand side, a small path leads down to this tiny beach located in Punta Salera. There are 34 meters of sandy beach with calm waters.

SAN LÁZARO BEACH
After passing the San Lázaro curve on the right hand side, one enters the San Lázaro neighborhood until the end, there we find the mouth of the Lérez and Pedras rivers, and on the right a 135 m long sandy area with the San Lázaro beach.

CONS-RAPOSIÑOS BEACH
Crossing the mouth of the rivers Lérez and Pedras from the beach of San Lázaro, there is a 250 meters long sandy beach called Raposiños. Quiet beach with a grove of trees above the beach with calm waters, white sand

LA LOMBA-ANGUSTIAS COVE
At the end of Raposiños beach, following the coast northwest towards Boiro, after 200 meters of rocky coastline, there are several coves that are on the coast of the area of Lomba and Angustia until you reach the Punta de la Merced. There are 350 meters where coves alternate with rocks and where small beaches with a special charm, wooded nature and white sand appear.

LA MERCÉ BEACH
Past the Punta de la Merced, a 135 meter long beach called de la Merced opens up. Above this beach is the old Monastery and Pazo de la Merced. Fine white sand, calm waters

LA RIBEIRIÑA 1 BEACH
Following the C-305 road towards Boiro, after passing the Pazo de la Merced that is on the left hand side of this road, we find a small track on the right hand side that leads us to this beach that we call Ribeiriña 1 because it is located in the village of Ribeiriña. It is 100 meters of coastline with calm waters and white sand.

LA RIBEIRIÑA 2 BEACH
Following the track that we have taken to go to Ribeiriña 1 beach, after 350 meters there is a beach that we call Ribeiriña 2 beach. It is 380 meters in which we can distinguish four different coves with calm waters and white sand.

LA POZA BEACH
Following the same track from where the Ribeiriña 2 beach ends, 100 meters away we find a path that leads to the sea. There we discover the beach of the . A sandy area of 110 meters of Poza beach, with vegetation, golden sand and calm waters.

CONCHIDO BEACH
Following the same track from where the Poza beach ends, 200 meters away we find the descent to the beaches of the village of Conchido. There are 350 meters of coastline where we can discover 4 sandy coves separated by rocky areas.
