DIFFICULTY LEVEL:Medium. It is done by car. Easy access to the petroglyphs.
The petroglyphs, especially concentrated in the municipality of Porto do Son, are scattered throughout the slopes of Mount Barbanza facing west. These are the traces of the communication of the first megalithic settlers in Barbanza, who oriented all their magic and rituals to the fall of the sun and the moon: to the West. Behind these marks on stone there is a whole linguistic code of human existence. This route allows you to delve into the relationship that these early settlers had with nature, with the stars, with inner and outer life, in their way of conceiving their own human existence and that of the village of which they were a part.
